The Inprosec team attended the STIC CCN-CERT conference, organised by the National Cryptology Centre (CCN), in its twelfth edition. This conference has become one of the main cybersecurity meetings in Spain, not only because of the great success of the event, but also because of the quality of the topics addressed and the experience and knowledge of the speakers.
On this occasion the event took place in Madrid on 12 and 13 December. The motto chosen for this 12th STIC CCN-CERT Conference has been “Cybersecurity, towards an effective response and deterrence”, convinced of the necessary change of paradigm in the protection of cyberspace.
Like us, several of the members of the Red Gallega de Ciberseguridad (RGC) have attended the event to enjoy the different topics. Prevention, threats, attacks, technological challenges and privacy on mobile devices have been discussed.
One of the points to be highlighted is the work being carried out in the new ENS version to adapt it to the RGPD and LOPD, even suggesting that the ideal in the future would be to be able to certify in the ENS-RGPD.
Another of the topics of great interest, has been the talk of Car Hacking on CAN Bus, the first communications protocol for the automotive industry.
And finally we want to congratulate Juan González, researcher of the Gradiant Technology Centre, for being the Galician winner of the Hacker Battle challenge, held in this Cybersecurity Conference.
