Today, we interview Aida de Peroy (SAP Consultant). We hope you get to know her experience working at our company.
What is your role at Inprosec?
My role at Inprosec is that of SAP Consultant. My day to day involves collaborating with the team to offer services and develop projects mainly related to SAP Security & GRC.
What would you highlight about your role within the company?
I would highlight the great opportunity I have to work with the end user, which allows me to know first-hand that our work has a real impact on companies. For that reason, we try, at all times, to understand the needs of each client to adapt our solutions to their realities.
What has Inprosec meant for your professional career?
When I started at Inprosec, I had no experience in SAP, but from the beginning I was given the opportunity to learn, trusting in my ability to adapt and grow. It has been a challenge that has allowed me not only to acquire technical knowledge, but also to continue developing fundamental skills such as problem solving, teamwork and the ability to face new situations.
How do you manage to balance personal and professional life?
Balancing personal and professional life can be complex. One of the advantages I value most is being able to choose my vacation days, which allows me to plan so I don’t miss out on important plans with friends and family.
What do you value most about working at a company like Inprosec?
One of the things I value most about working at Inprosec is the opportunity to surround myself with great professionals. Both my colleagues within the company, as well as the clients with whom we interact, create an environment that encourages continuous learning and growth, where every day is a new opportunity to improve and bring more value to the projects, which motivates me and drives me to continue developing.
Tell us an anecdote that caught your attention during your time at Inprosec.
The first day of any new stage is always anecdotal, and this could not be less. Although I was lucky enough to enter with my partner Carlos, I could hardly disguise how lost I was that morning, but the team took care of integrating us quickly and made us feel comfortable.
During lunch, after the typical introductory conversations, we were asked if we had noticed anything different in the office that caught our attention. At first we didn’t understand what they were referring to, but then we discovered that many of the colleagues had agreed to wear pink shirts, but since they were different shades of pink, it wasn’t very distinguishable. Perhaps the pink did not stand out among the different people, but without a doubt, at that moment, I realized that the good atmosphere they generated was enviable! A first impression that marked me!
As an employee of a cybersecurity company, what advice would you give to any entrepreneur starting with their systems?
Although today many companies are already familiar and aware of the term cybersecurity, it is not so common to find companies that have information security as an order of the day in every change process they carry out. For this reason, having specialists in the field makes all the difference.
What are your hobbies after the workday ends?
After work, I love spending time with my friends and family. I am one of those people who always say “yes” to any plan and one of my favorites, summer or winter, is to end the day at the beach watching the sunset, we definitely live in a privileged place.
Who do you “nominate” for us to interview next and why?
I nominate Lili, as I am now lucky enough to sit next to her in the office, she is one of the people I admire and I’m sure after her interview you will too.
