Mindtech has shown, in its first edition, to be able to achieve a success compared to other national and international events.
More than 20,000 visitors and 215 companies attended the event held on October 10th, 11th and 12th at the IFEVI (Vigo’s Trade Fair Institute). Among them, Inprosec Auto, which was present presenting its industry management and monitoring system and its cyber security services for factories.
Of the areas presented at Mindtech, the strong presence of the connected industry stands out above all. In the event we could see from monitoring systems for production plants and the market trend of AGVs towards intelligent robotics that no longer makes them dependent on predefined routes but, now, many of the autonomous vehicles in the factory, will be able to make their own decisions and optimal routes to their destination.
Another point that has undoubtedly proved to be one of the strengths of the 4.0 industry is robotics and production controllers connected not only to the factory network but also to the Internet.
All of this represents a great challenge that manufacturers will have to take up and whose solution is currently being pursued by initiatives such as Inprosec Auto: the protection of the industry against cyber-threats.
