On May 28th and 29th, the AUSAPE 2024 Forum took place in Granada, which was attended by David Torres, Roi Fortes, Tamara Rivera, and Yoel Rodríguez. After having attended the editions of Bilbao, Seville and Mallorca this year we repeated the experience with a Stand after the good results of the previous year. On this occasion, we were fortunate to have Rubén Gil from Daikin Europe join us at this event to tell attendees about our Access Governance (security and roles) project in Cloud systems and SAP ® GRC.
DAY 1
After arriving at the Granada Congress Palace, the event was opened with the inauguration by AUSAPE President Nacho Santillana, followed by a keynote speech in the auditorium on human AI intelligence and innovation given by Alejandro Alonso Puig. This was followed by two more keynote speeches, one by Izanami Martínez on how to multiply impacts and the limits of creativity. The other, by Carlos Grau, affirming that we must embrace new innovation with a purpose. Subsequently, it was time for networking during the moments before and during lunch, with various clients, suppliers, and partners.
In the afternoon, it was our turn for our first presentation with Ruben Gil along with David Torres and our success story at Daikin Europe on Access Governance in Cloud systems and SAP ® GRC, which attracted more than one group interested in the topic.
Undoubtedly, a new experience for us at AUSAPE, but with very positive feedback. We also took the opportunity to attend some of the talks, whose main topic was migration to S/4 HANA.
Finally, we closed the day with a dinner in a wedding hall in the city that was able to accommodate the more than 1,300 attendees at this year’s AUSAPE event. Where we also took the opportunity to reconnect with clients, suppliers, and partners.
DAY 2
On this day, the second and last day of the event began, where throughout the day we attended to all those interested in SAP ® security and SAP ® GRC topics.
As the day progressed, the team was able to visit some partner and client stands, where we were able to discuss future projects together, this time in a more face-to-face manner than we are used to. Just before lunch, we had the second presentation with Rubén Gil on Access Governance in Cloud systems and SAP ® GRC, where those interested came to learn a little more about the success story.
After a busy afternoon at the Stand, the team returned to the Hotel to head for dinner. Where once again, we witnessed a period representation, as well as regional dances, monologues, and award presentations, among others.
AUSAPE’s management took the opportunity to recap the association’s 30 years of success and growth, which is why Inprosec is proud to be part of this successful story that we are sure will continue for at least another 30 years.
In summary, despite having attended all the post-pandemic Forums, this year AUSAPE brought together more than 1,000 industry professionals in Granada for its 30th anniversary, and Inprosec had a more active presence with a Stand and 4 attendees from our team. Accompanying the growth of our activity, we have been able to verify the growing concern for SAP ® security and SAP ® GRC within the SAP ® community in Spain.
